Ariens Pro 28
420 CC motor, around 15.5 hp

The new ones from the last 3 or 4 years have electric start, electronic fuel injection so electronic ignition as well.
Starts on first twist, no choke, no fussing with throttle.
Also hydrostatic variable speed transmission.

I'm having a real hard time justifying replacing mine though.
Investing 50 in parts to be as good as new or buy a new one....
but wait, does it have more power?

I did ponder the idea of a taking a crashed sport bike from copart and stuffing it into a big snow blower frame.
I'm sure my neighbors want to hear my 80 hp snowblower at 9,000 rpm.

The best snowblower we had when I worked in property maintenance was a Honda 928 with tracks. It was insane, I remember taking it through one of the side yards in between the walks and it was buried in snow and you couldn’t even see it but it just kept throwing snow. It did break shear pins easily but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing,

How about building a sit on rider snowblower with a sport bike or car motor on it?

It's gonna get cold. I drive Tuesday afternoon for SAINT as a fill-in. I wonder how many riders will cancel.

Here in Fort Myers it is currently 73°F with a projected high in the 80's. Sure am going to hate to leave this.
