Snow/Ice tires really matter.
I used to ski with the kids on friday afternoons.
One cold bright sunny day, just as we were a leaving around sundown, a quick snow squall came through.
It wasn't much more than half an inch but it was more than enough.
The snow hit the pavement warmed by the sun, melted and instantly refroze.
Rt 2 is two eastbound lanes and two westbound lanes but very hilly in that area.
Folks were slip sliding all over teh place.
I had fresh Blizzaks on my front drive millenia.
It was excuse me, pardon me, excuse me, coming through picking my way through traffic like it was just a fat parking lot.
