Welcome Martin, you will really appreciate the S2000 - especially on the track where it seems at its best!

I am 40 and will soon be the owner of a 2005 Silverstone S2000. I would love to join this group if at all possible.

I have a long affection of cars starting from flipping through Hot Rod Magazine as a 10 year old. I have owned a variety of cars and done everything within my power to be the only hands that do any of the mechanical work. Cars include (starting from 1st):
95 Plymouth Neon, 87 Mazda RX7, 98 Subaru Impreza Outback, 00 Ford Explorer Sport Track, 05 Subaru Legacy GT, 06 Honda Ridgeline,98 Subaru Forester XT, 93 Subaru WRX, 08 Mitsubishi Evolution X, 04 BMW M3 Dinan S/Ced, 08 Audi A4 Avant, 87 Mitsubishi Montero, 90 Mazda Miata,16 Toyota Tundra 1794, 12 Toyota Prius, and my pride and joy 2007 Audi RS4 supercharged from JHM. I have sold it, and wanted to get something more manageable for the rodas here. I have always wanted an S2000, so here I am.
My family and I live in Madison, AL and moved here after I retired from 21 years of Active Duty in the United States Army as a 14Z Air Defense First Sergeant. I am currently working at Missile Defense Agency as a Defense Contractor. I really look forward to sharing advice and stories.

You have lots of company here as far as loving cars and maintaining them. I'm not one who does my own maintenance, but I appreciate those who do.

Welcome Marcus... to be sure you've owned a wide range of vehicles. Thanks for your service as well. As Deb said, feel free to join in the general discussions which run all over the board in Vintage.

Thank you so much. My Miata was such a hoot that I really wanted to get another convertible. The S2000 fascinated my since its release when it held the title for most HP per liter. It only took 17 years, but I can't wait to pick mine up on Saturday. I have already blown a pretty penny on performance parts.

Rowland, that's a great deal. Sell it and still use it. I want a deal like that. Welcome.
