We lost 2 sports legends
Tony Gwynn, 20 year player for the Padres, with over 3000 hits and a Hall of Famer passed away at age 54. His son is playing for the Phillies. Chuck Noll, legendary coach of the Steelers who built one of the best football teams in history died at age 82. The Steelers won 4 Super Bowls in the 70's and were a dominant force. RIP.

This has been a tough week. We also lost Bob Welch, power pitcher for the Dodgers and A's.
From the world of entertainment we lost:
Ruby Dee
Jimmy Scott
Ultra Violet.
Been a tough week.

When I see ballplayers still chewing tobacco, I think why, why, why would they want to jeopardize their lives like that? Knowing how dangerous it is. Very sad that Tony Gwynn suffered the consequences.

Chuck Null was great. I have his smiling face on a can of Iron City Beer!
