Default We measure snow in feet.

People are always asking "how much snow do you have Legal Bill?" (No, seriously, people are always asking.) So I thought I'd take the hours required to post some photos.

Here is the house:

Here I am picking up the mail. That small hill behind me is a snow bank.

After snow blowing the driveway from four snow storms, you end up with an awesome snow fort.

How's the snow in your area?

What snow. Zilch, so far. You really got hammered. My nephew works in Boston and is ready to move back here. Be careful out there, Bill lots of heart attacks happening from shoveling snow.

Nice hat! You have way more snow than we do.

It's too late for me to take pics tonight.

Here are two from this afternoon.

Our bear/cat is in the snow...and you can see a bistro set that we won't be dining at any time soon.

Here's my guy keeping the path to the bird feeders clear.

The last two storms we got away with only a little...I heard Thursday may be "our" storm. Looks like you need a break, Bill.

Bill, you have either shrunk in stature or you have a whole hell of a lot of snow!

Hang in there, it should be melted by the 4th of July! 2016

I keep telling my wife this. She keeps finding snow that needs to be removed...

Given how deep the snow was getting on the deck, I decided it might be a good idea to clear it off.
You can see the snow was over the 3 foot rail height.
I dragged the snowblower through the kitchen to get it out there but I'm not gonna get a heart attack from shoveling.

Jerry, does the blower get the snow up over the railing? My neighbor in CO doesn't use his on the deck, because it doesn't clear the snow over the railing. The snow at my place dumps off the roof valleys (on either side of the front of the house) onto the deck, leaving two huge mounds until I can clear it. If I am not there soon enough it turns to ice and I have to use a pick to break it up before I can heave chunks over the railing, Otherwise I use a shovel.
