On my Motorcycle, end of scale of the Speedo: 300 Km/h = 187 mph. But i doubt the accuracy of the Speedo.
On the S2000, 240 Km/h = 149 mph. Road was a tiny tiny litle bit damp from a rain before and the engine is not desigend for this, so... keep it safe.
250 Km/h = 155 mph in a rented Mercedes S-Class. I was thinking: I dont want to own it, i dont want to maintain or work on it, but.... this is impressive!

And allways remember, there´s allways a bigger fish. I Love this story about the speed check:

I loved that car when it came out. It was simply a beautiful car.
I had owned the prior version and was intent on buying one.
I went down to the dealer and tried to sit in one.

I was crushed, I couldn't even sit up. I tried crumpling my legs to no avail.

Agree, such a very clean and understated design. I got to borrow my brothers quite a lot when he owned it, he let me borrow it when my VW Corrado was in the shop, which was fairly often. He had a Miata prior to that which I got to drive several times. When I got the Corrado back the last time I drove straight to a Mazda dealer and got a Miata. Lol.

As I recall my son's first or second car was an RX-7. Didn't have it long, as he wrecked it.

Pretty sure mine was more terrifying
Driving a Honda was more "terrifying" than flying a combat ready fighter? I don't think so.

Here’s a pic from way back, me and my two brothers standing next to our cars. They were all various shades of green.

My Corrado’s speedo topped out at 140, but it definitely hit that plus a little more. Probably why it kept breaking. I was an idiot back then. My older brother (the rx7 one) definitely aided in my car sickness.

I always enjoyed speeding up for a curve and testing my skill and nerves much more than any bragging rights for a top speed. Nice rides Sam.

So Dave, we should have "what's the most lateral G's you've pulled?"

Pretty sure Cosmo and Raptor would win.

8.5 Gs in an F4, 15 Gs in a centrifuge, at the edge of blackout.
