We were ice fishing one year with a portable fold-up tent with a board base on ski's. A strong wind pulled up the stakes and sent the tent like a sail across the ice towards open water! Scared the shit out of us.

A few years ago I did too. This was 1983 back when they (ATC) let you drop down in the canyon.

Space would be cool, but I don't trust the current generation of rockets, too much exploding going on for my liking.

May I suggest that if you have never been to the Haofbrauhaus in Munich that you put it on your "bucket list". As the picture depicts, when I was there I was amazed that the female servers that have fore arms like Pop Eye can hold six steins in each hand!

On the musical bucket list side.
Last summer we saw the BSO perform Beethoven's 9th symphony at Tanglewood.
Still pending on the list is to hear Toccata and Fugue in D minor, J.S.Bach BVW 565 played live on a proper organ in a proper environment. Something big with hard acoustic surfaces to promote a long musical decay.

I still want to see Andrea Bocelli in concert ( I missed my chance in 2025), and there is an Italian artist named Zucchero who I would love to see in concert too.

I have done this a number of times. The last time, pictured here, Mr Matchbox joined my family. He is the bald guy. Even let me drive his S2000 (not after the beer)
Lots of fun. We combined this with the Passion Play which is every decade. Highly recommend it.

^ That pretzel looks amazing, a little mustard put on in a zig-zag pattern would be perfect for me.
