Ugh, This weekend I’m driving back down to Texas to get ready to drive to MD/NY for Spring Fling. My S was sitting in my mechanic’s shop receiving occasional grunt work for the last eight months. No more supercharger pulling on the crank... I drove it up here to Colorado a couple of weeks ago - wow, how sweet it runs!

Hummmmmm, am I to understand you went back to the basic S2000 motor? Still planning to do track days?

Sat we are going on a guided walking tour downtown with my nephew, as part of the International Club of DC, which puts on great events. This one meets at Union Station where the guide will talk about the history and architecture of the station. Then we make our way past the Supreme Court before arriving at the Library of Congress, the main focus of the tour. I've not been there in many years, so will be very interesting. It's a beautiful building.

Sun we are going to the Nats/Dodgers game. The team is on fire!

Tour of the Library of Congress was very good. Really enjoyed it. We all met at Union Station and had some commentary on the station, then walked over to the LoC. Went into the Capitol Visitors Center, which I had never seen. There is a tunnel that connects the Visitors Center with the library. If you are in DC, the LoC should be on your list of places to visit. It is a spectacular building. One cool part is Jefferson's Library, a display of all of the books which formed the basis for the LoC. They were brought from Charlottesville. Some of them are really, really old! I saw a bible from 1517.

Just some puttering here....(see weather thread ) I have some errands to run, and I'm still looking for a few items to finish off the living room re-do. We picked up the Honda from the body shop yesterday, she is looking fine. I want to pick up a gift certificate for the employee that did the work. Will do that while I'm out.

We had a good time today, even if cold and rainy. Started off top down, then light rain, then heavy rain . . . thankfully I spotted a Holiday Inn Express (with a drive under roof!!!), where we could put up top. Its no 6-seconds like the S2000. It honestly takes 10-15 minutes by the time we undo the 3-point seat belts and reroute them along with fighting a top style designed in 1930. None-the-less, we went on-ward and met up with like thinking fools. Then stopped a popular water hole on the way home.

Flying out to Boston, driving south about an hour, for a wedding Sunday. Have two free days to check out areas nearby (thanks for suggestions) then next week on to Savannah for 3 days before home.
