Let's face it - all your friends are old (except Patty!)

Oh, sounds like fun!
It was hot humid here today. Long day chained to my desk, suggested a walk in the beach after work. Headed out and as soon as we got near the coast, the fog was rolling in. Settled for a walk at a nature place not far from the beach where we were going to walk. There is a beach loop path which we took...view was less than spectacular. BUT we did see about five egrets in a marshy area near the pond, and we provided the mosquitoes with some pre dinner snacking. We didn't hang around. The mosquitoes were brutal.

You always drive me nuts with the water scenes, I always wanted to live closer to or on water . . . somehow I ended up in the middle of a state surrounded by water.

Dave I do appreciate the area in which we live. Can't beat the sound of the ocean after a day at the office or anytime for that matter

Finally got my new battery in the s. It stopped raining Thursday eve so I took the opportunity to get the battery in and go for a spin so I’ll be cruising in my s this weekend and my sister is coming up for a visit tonight.

Finally got to meet my nephew's little girl, Clara. They live in NY, stopped in MA on their way to Maine. Here they are along with me, my sister who also lives locally and his Dad's sister who lives in this area as well. Little Clara has just turned two in May, is already potty trained and talks a LOT. She has a pretty impressive vocabulary and is just so darn cute...I could be a bit biased here. Parents today are also way cautious with food allergies, and Clara had never had a chocolate cupcake until yesterday. See below for that one...I think she liked it.
