I guess I am putting a new radiator in the S2k ... since the original cracked last night ... At least I could get one fast so I do not miss two autox events next weekend!

Oh well, easy job, just a bit of time to get it bled after. Could be a lot worse, and at 142,000 miles I wont complain too much about it happening.

Saturday, I'll be refereeing the #1 ranked women's NAIA college soccer team in the nation (Spring Arbor University, 9-0-1 record). Had them in late August and they are very good. The opposing coach (Mt Vernon Nazarene, 8-2-2 record) is a grad of Spring Arbor, so some interesting parallels for this match.

Soccer season is just about over! *whew*

Sunday is the Cantucky Ridge Run in NKY with the OKI group.Looking forward to seeing Dave and Iris... OK Ken too!

Ugh, my S2000 is in the shop for, among other things, a replacement tensioner chain and more robust head bolts. The car has 170,000 miles on the clock and needs some TLC to remain up to the level of performance that I want to maintain. I am hoping to keep the car and pass it on someday. And after all I have to keep on keeping up with you guys at Spring Fling!!

Jim, you are really doing well considering all the stress with add-on's, track time, cross country, and all. Motor work is never cheap but that yellow girl has earned it!

We headed to a state park on the Cape today. Walked around some trails around a coupe of ponds, then headed to the grounds of a mansion, grabbed a few shots of course. A quick stop at a beach just because we can. We may head back that way(to a different area) again tomorrow We have some gorgeous fall weather going on.
Magic mushrooms in the woods.

Dave you were, of course, always right in your comments about modifying the car under the hood. May actually be a big mistake in retrospect, but I have enjoyed the hell out of the extra power. Guess I’ll never grow up.

Well. after the S has been in the shop with a CEL for over 4 weeks, just picked it up this morning after having 4 new injectors and a pulse damper installed.

After driving it for over an hour and a half on the way home, no CEL! Got my that this finally fixes it, since we've tried just about everything else.

Like Jim, I plan to keep it as long as I can get in and out.
