Yesterday we bought flowering plants and then went to listen to a favorite local band. Today I will be digging holes in the ground, inserting those plants into said holes, and hoping the plants survive for at least a week.

I am headed to the "pop up mini meet" in Staunton, VA on Wednesday through Friday, and then while I am that far south. I will be heading to a Hampton Inn in Danville, VA to attend a race on Saturday at the Speedway at South Boston, VA. I person that I know from the American Legion Post 273 in Riverhead, Long Island, NY is on the pit crew and invited me to join them in the pits. I think that he may put me to work, but it seems like it should be a interesting experience.
