Wild play at the Master's going on. Anything can happen at this point. Caps and Nats won yesterday, so happy about that.

Came down with a nasty congestive cough Thursday, so we had to skip French Quarter Fest. We did make it to the Saturday afternoon gig by Right Lane Bandits in Biloxi.

That did let me watch the final round of the Masters and Mississippi State sweep a three game baseball series over Alabama.

So the weekend wasn't a total loss.

I had one that lasted over 3 weeks. I had it a bit in Colorado, and then when I was in humid Florida for 5 days, it got much worse. Came home to CO and finally went to the doctor after another 3 days of it. The doctor put me on Doxycycline after a chest x-ray showed "something". By the time the 6 days of antibiotic was done I was much better. Strange thing. I never felt like I had a cold. It was just lots of wheezing and a wet cough. My wheezing even scared my cat, Leo, who was looking around worried, trying to figure out where the strange noise was coming from.

How's your cough progressing?

The +1 only got rid of his cough a couple of days ago after having one for 10 days or so. He was really sick with the flu (I think).

Sounds exactly what my wife went through. Interesting that you both bounced back after an antibiotic. Could be coincidence or could be that whatever you both had is bacterial rather than viral like most "colds". If I don't see continuous improvement over the next few days I will see my doctor as well.

Tax season is over! Actually, I was finished yesterday. This weekend I'm going to try to catch up on all the things I've put off since January.

I believe I will spend the next week with my leg up. I had a meniscus repaired today. Damn the drugs are good!

Well that's not fun, Dave! Big repair or "just" a scope?

Just scoped. Should be back up in a day or so but no clutch work at least a week. No big problem as it was snowing here this morning.
