^ Escalating costs and lack of cooperation from the Pentagon and local police. That is the story from Rolling Thunder organizers. Who knows...maybe they will reach some kind of détente and the tradition will keep rolling along.

This upcoming weekend is (most likely) my last trip to Boston to referee the Needham College Showcase.

I'm at the point of no return, so if I'm going to make it to Spring Fling - this is what I will be doing.

My replacement items are due tomorrow late. I'm not going to take these apart any further until they arrive. I've removed dozens and dozens of staples to reach this point but I don't want to get ahead of myself.

I've been practicing with my new toy; so far I love it but the proof will be in the next couple days.

Dave, where are you going to get authentic aged hay?

Although that does look like sisal fibers on closer inspection.

I have an aunt in Delaware who rode with a friend in Rolling Thunder a four or five years ago. A couple years ago we were driving into DC from DE and Rolling Thunder (or at least a huge part of it) passed us going the other way on the Bay Bridge...and before we got to the Bay Bridge, and long after we had crossed over the Bay Bridge. It was quite a sight.

Spent last weekend, and a few days on either side, taking care of our grandson in Nashville while his mom and dad were at the hospital producing our second grandson. Everything went very well. We are glad to be home but we did have a great time trying to keep up with a three year old. I learned a lot about Paw Patrol, Dyno Dan, and the Nashville Zoo.
