Hoping to go for lunch at Brookgreen Gardens with Val and Jim. To be determined...

We did go and had a lovely time. Walked around the gardens some afterwards. Now back at the hotel for one last evening on the beach before heading home tomorrow. Really nice weather the whole weekend but humidity up today. Temps in the low 80s. Have to face 90s in DC the next few days. Ugh...

Glad to hear Val and Jim joined you today!

We puttered around yesterday and today we took a road trip to Marblehead MA on the north shore. Rockly coastline, fancy homes, old historic homes too. Unfortunately it was about 92 degrees! Definitely not tourist weather. I knew what the weather prediction was, I should have come up with a plan B. We did check out a few areas, found a nice spot for our picnic lunch too. I grabbed a few photos, but nothing too memorable. The skies were rather gray. We then headed to Manchester by the Sea, and thinking of also going to Gloucester, but it was not meant to be. We did get to Manchester by the sea, which looked interesting and quaint, but it was crowded, hot and parking was not to be had. Now I know why we seldom visit tourist spots after Memorial Day.

We'll think of something better to do next weekend.

Finally you are talking about places we have been to. We spent a week in Rockport last September. We went to a good fish market in Gloucester. I don't think we went to Manchester, may have driven through it.

Lainey's right. it was hot, damn hot.
We played 18 this afternoon and even with a cart, I am toast.
Haven't had the time to get back in shape this year yet.

Have quite a few pics to post once we get home. Moonrises were as amazing as sunrises.

Spent last weekend at the Jersey Shore (okay Delaware Bay shore) looking at horseshoe crabs and touring winery's. Think I'll drive to Ohio this weekend and do some Tomcatt.

Leaving in a few minutes for S2KDays in Fredericksburg, Texas. Taking the scenic route. Matt and Glenn (Jetsitter) will be there, as well. Returning home is two weeks, + or - .

Big trip!! Have a great time. This weekend the +1 will be running the Rock Lobster 200-Mile Relay in Maine. I will not. I am having lunch tomorrow with Granny - haven't seen her in awhile.
