Hoping weekend is mostly uneventful. I might be starting with a sore throat/cold which generally leads to respiratory issues, and I have a tooth under a permanent bridge that is not "normal." I have an appointment to get it checked next week and a fear the results $$$$, but I'm hoping it doesn't start to hurt. Toothaches suck!

Granddaughter might be joining us for dinner on Saturday. I've got some puttering/errands to do. So likely a quiet weekend. I'm working Monday then off the rest of next week. Will enjoy some down time.

At the hotel in Annapolis. Got a package which includes access to a lounge with fruit, snacks, water, coffee/tea, etc. All those snacks I try to avoid, like goldfish, potato chips, caramel popcorn (this one with crab spice). Bottom line - I'm being bad. But it's temporary.

If you’re there Sunday morning, you should go down to the City Dock around 9:00 for Cars & Coffee. Usually some nice cars show up. I see you’re at the Loews. We stay there since it’s pet friendly when we go for the weekend. Nice place.

Ricky's grand daughter's 4th birthday party today and Ricky's mom's Thanksgiving tomorrow. Oh boy. It's the best weather of the year to ride but I've got to sit this one out. The good news is my strap on cast is actually getting loose enough for me to consider going back to Kaiser an asking for a size smaller. The swelling in my foot has really gone down. It's been 23 days since I broke my foot and I have about 25 days more before my recheck xrays.

Patty, that sounds like really good news - may it long continue.

Weekend was pretty quiet...Granddaughter bailed on our dinner...a better offer to hang with friends.... The tooth behaved. I got it checked at the dentist yesterday. There is an issue with one. It has a ridge near gum line and that seems to be leading to the cold sensitivity issue. He put some medication on it and it does seem better. The bridge behind it and the teeth under the bridge are fine. Unfortunately, if this tooth acts up, the dentist didn't feel a root canal and cap would help, as he doesn't think it would last. He'd recommend an extraction and an implant. $$$. BUT the good news is the tooth structure has not changed since the issue was first noticed in 2008, he and the previous dentist have been watching this tooth, and did an Xray to confirm this. Hopefully the issue with the sensitivity can be managed.

I'm enjoying my extended weekend. Busy, busy. Extra classes at the Y, strolled around with my camera yesterday, getting some things done around the house. In general, practicing for retirement.

We have a party on Sat. Close friends do a catered open house every year and the food is delish!

This should be a low key quiet weekend at home. Ricky is having his five pieces of clavicle reassembled during outpatient surgery tomorrow (Friday). I imagine he'll be sleeping a lot. I'll be at his beck and call.
