Not bad…and if you can afford that house, prop taxes are not a problem. It is not SC. Talking about the MA house. Naples is a whole other category.

Price tripled in two years. That is quite a renovation. Also has not sold in six months. Time for a price reduction.

I think I'm in love. 9 car garage and you have to look at what is in there.

The property taxes are only $95k a year and I thought mine were bad.
The reason the heat exchangers were available is they totally gutted the house and are refinishing all of the interior.
And when I say gutted, if it wasn't a load bearing wall, it came out. wiring, plumbing, even the fireplace facings were removed.
the back deck landscaping. everything.

Love my Reznor overhead natural gas heater. I keep it at 45° all winter even tho I seldom work in it anymore. It is so well insulated it does not matter.

Our home inspection appears to have gone well, but a 3 hour inspection for a 1900 square foot home is absolutely ridiculous, plus the entire roof and foundation were covered in deep snow so they didn't have to do much with those areas. People get suckered into these long inspections so the home inspectors can justify their $500 fee. Upon return to our home we could tell exactly what items they inspected and what items they did not inspect, which makes the 3 hour process even more crazy.

I did the home inspection of the new home we are planning to purchase myself, in 45 minutes I found every defect with the home.

Being out of the home for three hours with a cat who accompanied us is a challenge , but we got through it

Plans for the weekend are to go to dinner and a movie tonight with my honey. I read the book and saw the first movie on DVD but we'll be seeing this new version with Tom Hanks. Finally, something I know we'll like.

It's cold and going to get much colder. It's been snowing today and it's 26*F. I'd love to go for a walk but my face would freeze without a covering and a covering steams up my Rx glasses. I vacuumed instead. Maybe I'll take down my Christmas tree. Nah. I don't want to rush it.

^Way below freezing on Sunday and Monday.

To add to the garage heater topic, I put one in my garage for when I was working on stained glass projects. It works well. I can't believe that the price on Amazon has gone increased from $380 to $980 in 4 1/2 years.

^1-28-2023. Price now.

^The garage heater I have. I paid $38 in September 2018.

^The same heater is now $979!
