Instead of asking which side of the bed do you sleep on, how about which side of the bed do you get out on?

And do you choose that side of the bed when you go to a hotel?

I get out the side of the bed that I sleep on. Doesn't everyone? Of course there are days when people around me know that I got up on the wrong side of the bed...

We always sleep on the same side of the bed no matter where we are.

Facing the bed, I sleep on the right, Rick on the left. Lying in bed, I'm on the left, Rick on the right.

If I asked what side of the bed you sleep on, you have to tell me you are either facing the bed from the foot of the bed or that you're in it. I figure if I ask what side do you get out on, it's a given that you're in it.

When I was married I always slept on the right side, at home and in the motorhome, but for some reason, I slept on the left side in the 5th wheel at Kennedy Meadows. I still sleep on the right side at home, or in the middle, and on the left side at Kennedy.

It's kind of the same question isn't it? What side do you sleep on, what side do you get out on?

Left at home. If travelling on business, whatever side the phone and alarm are on.

The left side, as seen from lying in the bed. I always choose this side no matter where I'm sleeping. Occasionally, when our dog has decided to sleep on my side, I have to crawl to the bottom to get out so as not to disturb her. Now that's real !
