It's 37 F, cloudy, and light drizzle. In other words, it's cold and wet.

We're expecting snow showers tonight which means there won't be bread, milk, or beer to be found for 60 miles. Here in the SC if even a flurry is called for the snow dummies rush to the Bi-Lo and stock up in the event of a surprise blizzard. I've always wondered why milk and bread? (The beer I get.) Why not o.j. and english muffins? Or cans of soup? Or potato chips? ;)

Drive to work (20 miles / 30 minute drive )

At work: Snowing 31 F (-0.5 C) snow covered roads with 3"-4" of accumulation.

50's & rain for the next day and a half.

In WA, we had lots of wind Thursday. 180,000 people with no power. My lights are back on but another storm expected this evening, stronger than the last. Have to go get some more lamp oil.

There's a drawback to all these trees.
