What's your weather? Part III

I just hunted down the old weather thread and it's up to 33 pages. I closed it and will start a new one.

The weather doesn't get much attention unless we seem to be experiencing extremes.

We've had cold, raw, rainy weather for a few days now. Today's temps barely went about 60. I can't believe it but Rick just turned the heat on :eek3: He wanted to get the chill out of the house.

It's August and I'm using oil.

How's your weather?

10:00 PM it's down to 77

Wet, just now (Ernesto). We've had about 5/8" so far, and it's just begun. It doesn't look like wind, though. HPH

Seriously sucks here in Ohio. We have NE wind at 10-20 knots and that means cool with 5 footers for the next three days. Then, to finish the weekend off, here comes what's left from Ernesto. Should have taken that free "jump" to Germany!

Looking better today than the last few days have been. Yesterday found a 2" puddle in the floor of my Civic. I might get a couple days now to dry it out. Today it's 70's and sunny/partly cloudy. All sunny right now.

(C'mon new Honda Fit! Where are you when I need you?) :banghead:

We've been having a lot of rain. The worst was on Monday, when our backyard went from this:

to this:

^ Oops...hope it stopped there! We will cool off considerably today - 78 versus 88 or so recently. But it is still very humid. And some rain in the forecast.

Are those real fawns, Dave? Hope they didn't drown.

And I thought our yard would look like that too, this morning -- so did the newspaper, apparently, with all the headlines about Ernesto's dire threat of rain, rain, rain. But since last night we've had only about another 0.1". I think Flats is getting it all, over in Naples. Here, it's just a little blustery, quite anti-climactic. HPH

I haven't seen beans. So far less than a half inch, no wind.

I never broke a seal on my huricane party supplies, instead I went to bed.

Ernesto is boring.

But that's ok by me.

Rain finally. Thanks to you guys in Florida for sending us the rain and keeping the wind down there. (We have enough hot air on Pennsylvania Ave).
