Default WHOA!

Just returned from shopping for ingredients for the cookies for Fall Harvest. I can't believe the price of butter- especially when purchasing it in quantity! It's been three years since I sold my shop and back then I enjoyed whole sale prices on bulk quantities. Quite the sticker shock !

Prices are getting crazy I see stuff on sale and I'm afraid to ask the regular price. My grocery store had butter on sale this week a pound for 3.39 it used to always be on sale a pound for 1.99

The price of everything is going up. When was the last time you priced a car?

I went shopping this past weekend and I'm really starting to feel VINTAGE as I'm amazed at how much everything costs I feel like my parents saying when I was young this cost 50 cents! We had a dollar store in the next town over that I used to buy my cards and giftwrap and things like that and they just closed it down so now I have to go to chain stores to buy that stuff and I just can't believe how much it is. I went clothes shopping and was amazed at the price of even just a pair of levis.

I was just relating to my wife the other day that I worked at a supermarket as a senior in High school back in 1967. On Friday nights - which used to be the big shopping night ( pay-day ) folks would spend $ 100 dollars for a large order and walk out with 6 or 7 large brown bags of stuff.
