back when i was a much younger man working in Cambridge I had a rather cavalier attitude with respect to parking tickets.
There was limited on street parking and the meter maids were vicious little piranhas.
I developed a habit of just tossing them in the back seat of the hatchback.
This was also the first year of our marriage. One day my beloved was in my car, looked back and promptly freaked out at finding ~100 tickets.
I was properly chastised and She paid 'em all up.
Days later, Cambridge had gone on the offensive with the Denver boot.
My car had been on the list but was literally scratched off that day.

I only cheat occasionally. I have a handicapped tag, but one of the restaurants I go to has two handicapped spots and about a half dozen spots reserved for takeout. Almost every time I go there the handicapped spots are taken, so I take one of the takeout spots. I figure I am taking my order out, just not in a bag.

I like your logic, too bad it doesn't apply to "R" and "V" spaces.

I'm doing pretty well. Thanks for asking, Dean. No health changes to report, and I seem to have stabilized. I've been keeping busy playing with my aquarium and supervising my handyman in getting cabinets installed, lighting fixtures changed, and various other odd jobs around the house. I'm working on getting my aquarium room plumbed to fully automate it. Automatic water top off to compensate for evaporation, automatic water changes, auto PH control with CO2 injection, etc..

It never stops. I'm just now getting this aquarium squared away and I already want a bigger one. I have my eye on a four foot by four foot, by two feet high custom aquarium. Maybe for Xmas.

I hope all is well with you.

Sorry for the hijack, now back to our confessions of our motor vehicle sins.

Hijack away, my friend.

Glad to hear you are stable! Well physically, now how about mentally???

Went to Mom's today to drop off food and tend to stuff. Cruised the parking lot. Any "V" spaces available sucked in that I was not putting my nice new Jeep there. Parked on a side street and hoofed it in.

I won't get into all of the details right now, but I've actually had the NY DMV represent me in traffic court to fight penalties on a few parking tickets. Was glad they won!
