Seahawks win a "must win" game.

Yup. The Chiefs may give the Rams some trouble this weekend but LA has home games against the 49ers and the Eagles, along with away games against the Lions and the Cards. Win three of those and Seattle is playing for a wild card spot even if they manage to win out. A big IF, since they still have to travel to Carolina and take on the Chiefs at home, two really tough games.

Mike, the Lions helped you out. And my Steelers pulled one off on the Jags. Son-in-law was there rooting for the Jags and left with 6 minutes to go. Tooooo bad. I just wish I could have watched it but it was blacked out here.

I saw the last few minutes of the game (after the Texans game against Washington was over). — On a busted pass play Roethlisberger barely got the ball over the goal line before his knee hit the ground. Back from being down 16 to zip! Then only 5 secs left on the clock for the Jags.

I I was shaking my head. Jags had that game won ten times over. But the Jag's offense couldn't get a first down in the fourth quarter. Typical Steelers clock mis-management and questionable play calling almost lost them the game, but somehow, with the help of a suddenly observant referee crew, they managed to pull it off with five seconds to spare.

So what is it about the redskins QB's.
Alex Smith had his own little Joe Theisman moment.
and this is one place where this thread would NOT be better with pics.

Saints did get the benefit of catching Philadelphia with a lot of injuries, especially in the defensive secondary. And that is one unit where you DO NOT want to have problems when you face Brees. But what impressed me was the Saints defense, holding the Eagles to a single score.
We also got help from Detroit (Thanks, Dave), Dallas (Thanks MSU alum. Dak), and Giants (Thanks, Eli). A good weekend for fans is when you obliterate your opponent and everyone else in your division loses.

Hope tonight's Chiefs versus Rams lives up to their current records. No blow out, either team. May come down to: who has the ball last.
