The Jets lost and the Giants lost. Just another New York Sunday.

The Brown's had every Steeler fan on the edge of their seat. So close to pulling off an upset to keep my team alive. To cheer myself up, I was reminded of those touching words of Walt Garrison, Dallas Cowboys fullback when asked if Tom Landry ever smiles: "I don't know. I only played there for nine years."

We might have won if the Refs weren't so quick with the whistle.

What a wild day of football so far. And what a great league is the NFL. Look how many teams still had something to play for today. Even the Sunday night game is a win-and-move-on affair.
Patriots get the bye and two weeks to prepare for either the Ravens or the Chargers here at Foxboro.
So how did your teams do today? Do you still have something to cheer for, or have you moved on to hockey?

Texans, Seahawks and Ravens are done. Patriots get the Chargers next week. Chiefs get the Colts.
Cowboys move forward. Now I'm watching the Eagles and 'da Bears to see who gets the Rams and the Saints.

My brother in law noted, if Colts beat Kansas, Pats are home and home for the playoffs.

For teh bears fans, I can't think of a more painful way to lose a game..... well maybe a five lateral hokey doke last play of the game....
