Oh, then there was this halftime tweet from one Adam Carley:
Maroon 5
Patriots 3
Rams 0
Yeah, the boring half time show pretty much lived up to the boring first half.

Mike, the NFL ad was rated as #1 by many; several saying it was better than the game. Its a real test for us old farts to try to recognize all the old farts in the video. Young people likely only know a few. Too bad Barry Sanders didn't live up to his contract and come back to the Lions instead of running around cakes (yah, I'm still mad at him).

I actually enjoyed the defensive showcase. It really made each point scored critical. In the modern NFL, defense has been relegated to "minor obstacle" for all the high flying offenses. It was nice to see two powerhouse defenses managing to both operate within the new rules (for the most part) AND stop the other team's offense cold.

Bill, I think the officials also like defense. They really let the players play. Good to see.
I also like a solid defensive battle, but prefer to see a little more from the offenses in a Super Bowl. Credit the Rams D, which we knew going in was pretty good, and the Pats for showing they can play some outstanding defense as well. I give a ton of credit to Belichick who demonstrated once again his ability to shut down an opposing offense. Even with Matt Patricia gone, the Pats defense in big games is better than ever.

A Florida police chief has announced that Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, will face charges of soliciting prostitution.

I just watched it on the news. This will only get worse for him. He was video taped at a facility suspected to be owned by a human trafficking ring that police had already busted and then set up a sting operation to catch the Johns. I'm waiting to hear if the person he was apparently videotaped having sex with is either underage or a sex slave imported from another country illegally, or both.

Not good at all. My question is why didn't he just take his plane and go to Vegas? What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and it's legal there. IF the sex slave aspect proves true, I personally want to hit him or kick him somewhere where it hurts. His wife must be spinning in her grave. IF this is all true, I hope she haunts him without mercy.
