I have to say the google news feed. USAToday, Rueters, turned me into a news junkie.
I keep waiting.

I like the health app. Tells me how many steps I’ve done as well as miles and flights climbed.

2 favorites are my iHeart radio app and my Publix app.

I do use my cell phone for a great bit of information: Waze (and Maps for planning), Weather Channel, Weather Bug, AP, CNN, Gannett USA Today for news. YouTube and FB and Google. And apps from my financial institutions, And last but certainly not least Amazon. There are probably another half dozen that I use on a regular basis. And there is always my beer app.

For driving, Road Warrior is terrific. I use it on my iPad.
I also like CityMaps2Go by Ulmon for downloaded maps that work with GPS (Bad Elf). Saved my bacon many times when out of cell phone tower range. Plus so much easier to use than Google Maps.
Sky guide is great for starwatching.
I use a Sony Audio app for my head unit on my S every time the engine starts. It controls the entire thing. I only open the radio door to play with CDs.
All the other apps I use are for heavy airline/travel use.
