Hi, I purchase the car used and I need this info to purchase the right cleaner. I know that it's not oem top, its got the fy rear glass. I did the water test and it almost seems it absorb the water but not easy to tell. Im posting the close up picture below. Thanks!

Edit: My mistake, the Raggtopp photo is misleading. Anyway, the weave in your photo suggests a fabric top.

I am in the same boat with my 2002 and want to protect it. Do the factory tops come with glass rear windows? Mine is plastic and has defrost wires on it? Is there a factory tag or some way to tell if it's original?

So the rear window says Honda so I assume it is original or at least OEM. Does this mean it's canvas or did Honda make both? It feels vinyl to me?

Honda only had vinyl. Any fabric/canvas is aftermarket. Earlier S2000s came with plastic windows.

Also I noticed a 1" worn area that is hardly noticeable. What is the best way to patch/re-inforce to keep from getting worse ? Can it be done from the inside if it's a patch ?
