Unhappy Best way to protect paint in a city that rains ALOT?

Whats the best way to keep my car paint protected/clean in the pacific northwest where it rains ALOT? The car is parked outside as I don't have access to a garage .

If the car is daily driven that's going to be tough. Try to wash it regularly (or use a wash less cleaner) to keep it clean. A key will be getting a good coat of wax or sealant on the paint surface to protect it from dirt/grim. Invest also in some microfiber towels and a quality Quick detailer for quick touch ups between washes or where you don't have time for waterless washes. You can also try a water repellent car cover, once it's clean and dry, to extend it's cleaning.
There are some great "how to" videos on Autogeek, Chemical Guys and AMMO NYC websites.
