Ok, time to lay the issue to rest. Which absorbs more water?
I did an experiment where I took both products and soaked them for a sufficient amount of time, fully immersed in water. Then, I hung each product to drip dry for about 5 minutes and lightly shook, until no more drips were coming off the products. Then I weighed them both and subtracted the original "dry" weight from the final "wet" weight. Here are the results: DRY weight The Absorber - 6.2 ounces Big Blue - 7.7 ounces WET weight The Absorber - 13.70 ounces Big Blue - 35.50 ounces Weight of water absorbed: The Absorber - 8.4 ounces Big Blue - 27.80 ounces "Absorbtion factor" The Absorber - 1.35x absorbency by weight Big Blue - 3.61x absorbency by weight If you do the math - the Big Blue towel absorbed OVER ONE LITER {correction: 800 Milliliters} of water!!! Case closed. Big-Blue The Absorber |

This Big Blue Towel seems like the drying towel of choice, even over regular micro fiber towels.
Are there any Canadian owners who can tell me where to purchase one in Canada, on line or in person? I hate dealing with Canada Customs. Bob in Winnipeg. |
