Cleaning inside of the windshield
Stoners glass cleaner and news paper that's been balled up, then unrolled and folded. I have tried several of the glass towels and just can't get them not to streak. Also, as mentioned spray your applicator instead of the window directly.
Outgassing of plastic can be a big factor as mentioned as well as overspray from dashboard stuff, also mentioned.
One thing that also outgasses that was not mentioned is Armour All type cleaners. If you read up on that crap you will never use it again. Its not only messy but it is actually harmful to plastics. Won't get into the chemistry but a number of products don't. Good mid range price point stuff is Megquires.

Additionally:
Keep in mind Meguiar's has multiple product families.
Most auto parts and big-box stores carry their consumer family.
Their "professional products" consist of these families: Detailer, Mirror Glaze, Meguiar's Professional, and DA Microfiber Correction System.
I personally use their Mirror Glaze family (e.g., M105, M205, M21, M34, etc.). (Although I will try their DA Microfiber Correction System in the future.)
