Cleaning Red Rollover Bars
I got my S2k Silver/Red a month ago. I'm in AZ with the top down 90% of the time, so the red rollover bars already have ground in dirt on them that does not easily come out.
Has anyone with the MY2002 Red interior used a product to clean the rollover bars that DOES NOT remove the color from the rollover bar? I don't want to use something that is so strong, it begins to take pigment off the bar. Thanks |
rollover bars...
do you mean the roll bars? if so, they are plastic/ vinyl covered, so i use vinylex. it cleans and gives them a very slight shine (a second app makes the shine greater if you want). vinylex will not remove color on any car. |

i think that this should get you there:

I've never had mine too dirty, but I use the Zaino cleaner, then their conditioner. Their instructions say that the stuff works on both Leather and vinyl, so I bought it. I didn't want to have to figure out what's leather and what's not, so it seemed the easy solution. I really like the stuff - it increases the richness of the red, of the leather, the vinyl, AND of the plastic. I apply the conditioner with my bare hands - allows you to really rub it in properly!
