Check out the RaggTopp products. You won't be disappointed. You should also get the softtop frame sanded down at the usually wear spots in the rear. And make sure that those two elastic straps in the roof are not dried out. If your top seems like it doesn't go down far enough when you retract it, it is a sign that you probably need new straps.

I second the Raggtopp for conditioning. You can get that and a new set of straps from Bob at Modifry. Also, get some Shin-Etsu Silicone Grease for all the seals around the top. A little applied a couple times a year will keep it nice and flexible.

+1 for Raggtopp here... i use their cleaner as well with a soft brush and then protect every 4-6 months... im garaged so not a big deal... if i was outside all day id increase application. and yes good info on checking the top straps, de-burr, and the shin etsu...

awesome. thanks guys! i think im going to order some 303 and some raggtopp and see which i like better. i gotta check out my straps. my car only has 43k on it so im guessing all of the top and the straps are still all factory original. are they hard to replace if need be?
