Electric Pressure Washer - Any recommendations

My Karcher packed it in last fall.
I use the PW more around the house (deck, walkway, outdoor furniture), than the car.
Anybody have any recent experience/recommendations they would like to share?
Thanks,
Michael

I have a Honda powered (3000psi) about 5 years old. Always starts. 3Kpsi is the minimum for household use. I use it all the time for cleaning the back deck (concrete). Not so much for cars but you can trench with it, knock down hornet nests, clean just about anything from outdoor furniture and grills.

One of the best tools I have.

Was going to come in here to tell you what you may have learned....don't buy a Karcher. I bought one, died within warranty period....they gave me a new one, it also died. Reminded me of typical overengineered German product, had design which circulated water around the motor and they both failed with leak in exact same place. If I could say something nice, their warranty process was very smooth, perhaps it's executed so often they've ironed out the kinks.

I replaced with a AR Blue and it's been fine and has outlasted the Karcher. Also echo what cosmo said, I also have a 3000 PSI honda and it's significantly stronger than the electric washer, if doing for household tasks might want to consider gas powered.

+1 for AR Blue

I have an AR Blue electric PW and it's been great. Just make sure you buy the model that uses standard hose/coupler/attachments. The lower end models use proprietary fittings that limits your ability to use different tools.

I use this one and it's pretty great:

2030psi is pretty wimpy but at least won't peel the paint off your car. Or shouldn't. ;) My lil' Honda powered Ryobi (Home Depot) puts out 3300psi, maybe 3100, it's in the shed. Anyway 3000+ psi gets lots of things done at longer ranges than 2000 and with a gas engine there's no hassle with dragging around a heavy 10ga power cord and blowing 15 amp circuit beakers.

Don't run any pressure washer without water pressure running to it or you'll burn up the pump.

I'm happy with my electric SunJoe model. The electric cord is a minor hassle, but I just used the unit yesterday and really had no issues. The 2350 psi with a 40 degree tip is fine for use on the S. It's also come in handy for cleaning the bird poop off of the front porch.

I had 2 electric Karcher units that failed.

Bought a Honda gas engined one from Sam's Club and am pleased with it.

I've had Karchers, AR Blue and Sunjoe's. If you can swing it i highly recommend a Kranzle Pressure Washer.
