hard water spots on side mirrors

Does anyone know of a safe product to use to remove these water stains? I tried using windex but even still, it will not come off. Looking for a safe product that will work without scratching the mirror.

Thanks.

Vinegar and water works very well. In a spray bottle of water add two capfuls of white vinegar. If you have very high PH water you may need to use distilled instead of tap water.

regular bounty paper towel or microfiber?

Use newspaper to apply whatever it is you use, works like a charm.

Vinegar and water worked for me. At the very most maybe 0000 steel wool applying NO pressure. Only use the steel wool if you absolutely have to and be super gentle. The vinegar should work just fine. More than one coat might also be needed to achieve perfect results.

Vinegar first and then with a clean rag and some paste wax and I feel confident your hard water deposits will disappear.

Will be doing this first thing in the morning. The glare is almost unbearable and pretty dangerous at night with my sideview mirrors.

I need to do this until I can get my hands on some lightly tinted blue convex sideview mirrors.

Clay bar, followed with some polish and a coat of wax.
