Leather Care: Meguiar's vs. Lexol
#11
I have used both, and yes the 303 Aerospace standard product is what I've used in the past. It protects well but is a bit slippery, but not a big deal either way. I currently use Pinnacle and I like it very much. Both products offer UV protection and will not dry out the seats.

I have been using Adam's Polishes leather & interior cleaner with their leather conditioner since I had my RSX Type S. I've also used on a few customer cars and have always gotten stellar results. I have yet to use it on the S2K but the seats are very similar to my RSX so I expect the same outcome. I had this really ugly white and blue blotch on the leather part of the door panel when I bought the S2K. It looked almost like paint or residue from a buffer, I tackled it with Adam's and it came right off, looks brand new after applying the conditioner.
They just updated their formula for both products and now offer it in even smaller sizes for those that only plan to use it on their personal cars. This is the kit I bought which comes with all the applicators and towels you'll need. They currently have 15% off with code LABOR17 which brings it down to $42.50 which I think is a great deal:
Adam's Interior and Leather Car Cleaner Kit | Detailing a Car
For any really tough spots I recommend this brush from them:
Adam's Cockpit Interior Cleaning Brush | Interior Cleaning | Leather Cleaner
Here is the smaller-sized bottles:
Adam's Leather & Interior Cleaner Foaming Bottle
Adam's Leather Conditioner | Leather Rejuvenate
Hope this helps! I will try to get before and after pics of my S2K once I clean the seats.

yes do like that. They have a cream version and a spray on version , I kind of like the spray on version as it is easy to use and doesn't block the perforation holes in our seats. Both protect well though.

I've never had any suede in my cars, I am sure someone has something for that , I know there are products to clean alacantara, not sure about protective products. Checke detailers domain and see if they have something I am sure there is something out there.

Thanks! I'll check them out and see.

Virtually all the leather sold on cars today is coated with "plastic" on the outside so neither product is going to make that style of leather last longer. Keeping it clean is the most important and Meguiars has the edge on that alone. Finer cars like Rolls, Aston, Ferrari have full grain hides which Lexol works on.

A few months ago I spilled an entire frozen coffee drink on the "leather" seats of my Jeep, it made a huge mess and it took me about 15 minutes to get home before I could attempt to clean it. Much to my surprise not a single drop absorbed into the seats, it wiped perfectly clean with just a dry towel, I didn't have to use any cleaner on the spill as the seats were impervious to any liquid. The seats were so heavily coated there really wasn't much resemblance to leather despite them being called leather seats.
