Meguiar's Keep Clear Headlight Coating
I used the Meguiar's PlastX and got my headlights nice and clear. However, after I applied the 2nd step with the coating, the lights look cloudy. I thought maybe it would change after it dried but it did not. Shouldn't it go on clear? Do you maybe have to use a lot and make sure it soaks on good to have it come out clear?

If you did it right your headlights should look frosty before you apply the clear coat, unless you just hit it with a polish.
The clear coat is to be applied lightly and from a distance, if you use too much clear coat it will distort the light and make them look hazy.
good part about the sanding/polish method is if its not right you can just hit it with another round of 2500 grit wet sand and its like you never even cleared them so you can do it properly.
