It is. The filler was $20 and then you need flexible primer to spray over it for another $20. Then you need adhesive for the filler ... another $20. Then $15 shipping. I hate paying that much for something I will use so little of and then it will just sit around and decay. If I were redoing a whole seat or both of them it wouldn't be so bad.
I'm frugal so I didn't get it because I also have my doubts that it would work well. It probably does and would have given me a better outcome. I am still wondering if the filler absorbs the dye the same way leather does which was the source of my doubt. I have only seen filler used with paint.
