Default Optimum No Rinse - safe to use on soft top?

The Optimum forums say the regular Wash & Shine version (https://www.amazon.com/Optimum-NR201.../dp/B00D8DR0AO) is safe and recommended for soft tops (mine is fabric instead of vinyl).

I was interested in trying the Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax (https://www.amazon.com/Optimum-NRWW2.../dp/B00GG9FB8U). Should I avoid applying it to the soft top?

Default

you can use it on the soft top, its basically just liquid soap. But I prefer using foamy soap with a gental plastic brush to clean the top. Once it drys, you want to spray some 303 Aerospace Fabric guard ( I just a bowl and a paint brush to apply it on to the soft top) the Fabric guard will make ur soft top completely water proof and water will just roll off.
