Default Recommended wheel cleaner for Bronze Anodized Volks

Like the title states...

I've owned multiple sets of wheels in the past including anodized bronze rays/Volks but my current set of RE30s have some fading and brake dust build up.

I'm just wondering what others use to clean these wheels. I want to make sure that I don't use something that could potentially damage the finish of the wheels. In the past sets I've had have either been very clean already or they weren't anodized.

I plan on sending a email to mackin and a few authorized dealers of theirs to see what they suggest using.

Thanks in advance

I've not found a better all around wheel cleaner than the Sonax wheel product. Requires a minimal amount of agitation after allowing the product to work and rinses easily off.

Awesome thank you so much for the tip. I just checked it out and the sonax cleaner sounds perfect. I think it was you who also recommended the sonax engine cleaner. I will be ordering both tonight along with some nice microfibers

Great, write a quick review once you've tried it and if you don't have a soft wheel brush look at ordering a "Wheel Woolie" or similar.

I will do a nice little write up when I do clean my wheels sometime next week, I do have w few wheel brushes but I'm going to look into the Wheel Woolie as well. Once again thank you very much for the suggestions.

Another vote for Sonax wheel cleaner. Works great to get rid of the brake dust and dirt although the smell of this product is quiet repulsive.

I use Sonax and Adams Wheel Cleaner. Both are pretty much same product and work well

Awesome I ordered some yesterday and it should be here tomorrow. I'm excited to do a nice complete detail on my car while trying this along with some other new products I ordered.

just make sure you try it in a test spot first to make sure it does not hurt your finish

griot's heavy duty wheel cleaner

otherwise just remove them, wash thoroughly and let dry, then use some wheel protectant(I use meguiar's wheel barrier or armor all wheel protectanct because they're cheap and very effective and last for several months) Just follow rules on application so you don't get runs on the face of the rim or dry spots on the tires.
