Removing deep scratches from plastic window
Naturally a month after I bought my s2000, a raccoon got trapped in my garage and walked all over the car.. Luckily it didn't do much damage and only put some scratches into the plastic window.
The window is super hazy and whatnot, but I think the scratches are probably too deep for just a polishing with something like Scratch-X. I'm thinking about sanding down the window with extremely fine paper (like 3-4k grit) until it's smooth, and then polishing with Scratch-X. Will that work / is it a good idea? Replacing the window is a last resort because the top itself is in great shape otherwise and I don't want to mess anything up with it.
You can see one of the scratches in this picture right behind the driver's seat.

For my hardtop (mugen rep) with the acrylic back window, though I wash with a microfiber wash mit and only air dry, over time very fine scratches are present, I've used Meguiars M105 with a buffer to correct this issue.
Hopefully it will work for you as well.
