I used Peanut Butter on it, yes I am not kidding, Peanut Butter. It still looks pretty good after 1 month, the only thing is he never uses 303 or any other conditioner so that kind of starts to whiten up a bit.

Peanut butter does nothing but removes the oxidation like a rubbing compound, I was it thouroghly afterwards and then apply 303 on top of it.
I remember a write up on Honda-Tech about Peanut butter on faded CF hoods.

http://www.amazon.com/Forever-Black-...+black+rag+top

you can get a box on amazon. i've used this on my soft top, and it didn't change the color much but my soft top wasn't very light to begin with. I guess honda doesn't make the darkest soft tops

Thanks for the tutorial! I just did mine this week and love the results. My s2k is garage kept so it wasn’t very faded. I did a light coat, let dry for 5hrs (overkill) with a fan on it and another light coat. I used light masking tape for windows and trim so I could get in every tough spot. I’m loving the results, super deep black. Already had a coworker ask if it’s a new top.

I always read the 1-Star reviews of products and this product seems horrible on many cars. Flaking off, powdering, etc.

Will be watching for you guys with S2000s experience.

I’ll post an update after being on for a week or two. I’d guess people experience flaking for two reasons: applying it too heavy & thick (best way is two very light coats, hours in between). And applying it in the sun rather than in the shade AFTER the top has cooled and relaxed.
