Hey guys! I made a quick video on Sonax Full Effect Wheel cleaner. I'm sure there are a lot of people who use it already but here it is! Enjoy!

hmmm. I might give Sonax a try. I have used Iron X for past few months, and works really good. But I cant stand the smell. Does Sonax have any weird smell to it? Best I can describe Iron X is old hot dog water.

Smell....... why yes it does. Kind of a sickly floral/bleach smell. But it works great so it's worth the mild irritation.

Most of these wheel cleaner smell. I used to use IronX but it's pretty expensive to use for routine washes. The lemon scent is more tolerable than cherry if you have to use IronX. Have your wheels coated and you shouldn't have to use these wheel cleaners often as regular car soap will do.

I tried switching to the lemon scent Iron X, but to me its still not pleasant at all. and yeah, it is pricey, I only use it if i go 3-4 weeks without washing car or after track days

Sonax smells like skunk and sulfur to me.

Coated with what? I use wheel wax and Max coat for the wheels. It helps a bit with dusting but it helps more with clean up

He's probably referring to Sonax Rim Shield, a spray on product that prevents brake dust from adhering to wheels. I haven't tried it yet, but has excellent reviews.

There are lots of wheel coating you can use. Gtechniq C5 Armor, Sonax Rim Shield, McKee 37 wheel coating, etc. I prefer not to use wax since most don't hold up well under heat.

I used whatever was left from my GTechniq EXO v2 bottle on the wheels and it's great. 90% of dust comes off with a rinse. The rest comes off with agitation from a brush.

Try C Quartz on your wheels for protection and you can thank me later.
