what do you use to transport your supplies?

so ive found THIS bag from autogeek. i searched but didnt see any threads discussing it. im looking for something i can use to carry everything i need to detail my car. lots of MF towels, cleaners and gels, brushes, mits, applicators; basically everything to wash and wax and address every part of the car.

whatever i get needs to fit in the trunk of the S, and hopefully have room for a 5gal bucket as well. i think this bag from autogeek would work as it looks pretty functional, but id like so suggestions on what you guys use.

thanks

james

Oops. Can't paste the link from my iPhone. To see the bag go to autogeek.net and click on. Detailing tools on the left. The bag will be on the next page about half way down.

i transport my stuff in various bags and milk crates. WAY too much stuff to fit into any bag. even if i got one of those crazy huge hockey bags it wouldn't have enough room i think for everything. i'd rather carry in organized multiple bags for ease of carry and set up.

Same here. I got free milk crates from the local grocery store.

The two buffers live in a cheap plastic toolbox I got at Home Depot on closeout. One of those dumb luck finds, it fits perfectly into the well of the trunk of the S2000, holds the PC, the Makita, their handles, and their backing plates. Aerosol cans of stuff fit neatly inside the well also, with the toolbox holding them in place. It was dumb luck, but it's like this box was made for this job.

Other stuff mostly goes in rubbermaid containers, by category. Large-ish (but not very tall) box on the passenger side floorboard for towels, etc.

I could probably figure out something a bit more clever than this, but I've really only done one mobile job. Most of mine I do at my house.

I have one similar to this one, only slightly bigger in size.

does that^ one fit on the trunk of the s? It's a but taller than the other one I've found.

It should. Its only 14 inches tall.

I have the Griot's bag as well. Very handy, sturdy and lots of spaces to hold various supplies.
