Wanabe- Any chance you could edit your first post to include all the additional sites listed in this thread? I noticed some folks listed that each particular site offers certain brands. That info(the major ones- Klasse, Poorboy, etc) would make it much easier to choose from.

TIA

Great list. I get a lot of specialty products from http://www.properautocare.com/index.html, but continue to buy most of the core basics from:

http://www.griotsgarage.com/index.jsp

I'm a little surprised Griots wasn't one of the first sites mentioned. Griots has a cult-like following.

I like Griot's. I haven't bought too many of their products, but the one's that I have I think are pretty good. Their new micro fiber drying towel is awesome and their quick detailer is pretty good. Also, I bought this tool which is basically a stick with a micro-fiber towel on the end. It's for cleaning the hard to reach areas on the windshield. I love it. No more stretching for the lower corners. This was more of an issue in my old car than the S though. Some of my other favorites are:

of course!!! Zymol rules!!!

Griots has some good stuff. I ordered a boars' hair car wash brush on a pole that allows water to run to the brush head. The price came to $93 including delivery. OK, I'll confess, I was a bit drunk when I ordered it! I can buy a brush on a pole with water running to the head at an auto parts store or Wal-Mart for $10 to $20! Just one thing. The brush from Griots gets my well-waxed cars clean with no need for any detergent. Thus no wax is removed. The ones I have from parts stores or Wal-Mart don't clean well, no matter how much detergent I use. Ditto for their boars' hair brush wheel cleaning brush. And they have a rotary dial tire gage coupled with a compressor driven inflater-deflater that really lets you get the pressure right and easily. Finally, I like their "Speed Shine" better than any other detailing sprays --- and I've tried them all.

So I do think Griots belongs on this list.

Thanks,
Richard

Griot's is the cat's pj's. I've been happy with everything I've tried from there. I recommend it highly.

Phil.
