Is Zaino not as popular here anymore?
Hey guys,
Looking to get the car cleaned up and ready for spring here. My car turns 16 years old this spring. When it came out..most people here were on the Zaino tip and it has kept my car looking pretty for years. From briefly revisiting this forum...looks like there are so many new products on the market compared to 16 years ago.
My question is...what is the favorite that most people use and why? Zaino is a lengthy process and wondering if there are new products that make things a bit easier yet yielding great results. Thanks for any advice you guys have! Here's to another 16 years and beyond if amazing motoring.

I paid to have have a ceramic coating put on a 2016 Lexus IS350 about 2yrs back. I loved everything about it except the price.
After getting the S2000 and my wife a car I decided to apply a coating myself. I went with Gyeon Can Coat. Of course I washed, clay, compound, polished, and prepped the cars for the coatings. The actual application process was pretty easy. The only downside to the can coat is it only last 6 months compared to other DIY ceramic coatings, however one $45 can will coat up to 3 cars twice.

Collinite 845 lasts 6+ months on my daily driver. It's cheap and goes on easy. Great shine, great beading, and solid protection. Did I mention that it's cheap?

Zaino was great back in the day, most cars I seen maintained with zaino all looked great, it probably gave the best results of any product in the past. In recent years high tech synthetic sealants have come a long way and offer longer protection with easy application. Something like Menzerna powerlock is better in every way, plus a dozen other sealant brands out there, then you have all of your nano coatings etc.
