I see so it will work but it needs to be modded. Do most people just use the ap1 part? I havent researched it as it doesnt really bother me that much daily driving but Ive heard leaving can lead to early clutch failure

Modifications have to be done for the AP1 slave to fit an AP2 (at least that's what I've read), which is why I opted to just have the CDV removed.
I vastly prefer how the car drives now, I can shift much quicker. But the slave was installed at the same time as a new aftermarket clutch and Flashpro tune, so I don't know how much I can attribute to the CDV removal. No regrets doing it, though.
