Under a newly instituted policy, we aren't giving these out to just anyone. After a good deal of discussion, the community has voted and decided we want the badge to help promote more participation in community events. The intent is not to exclude people, but rather for the badge to symbolize inclusion in the activities of the San Diego S2000 community. The requirements are simple. If you've physically attended a club event in San Diego since June 1, 2005, when the SD forum was started, you qualify for a badge.

There are lots of ways to participate. SD club events include tech days, canyon runs, barbeque and dinner meets, autocross and track events, the weekly Fusion meets, and any other activity that is organized and promoted in this forum.

Post here if you want the badge to appear in your signature. Tell us which event you attended qualifies you. We hope to see you at many more events in the future.

I want a badge. ;) I went on the Borrego Springs breakfast run September 11th.

We want an SD badge. We have gone to all the Tech Days and we attend most of the events (fusion, joe's bbq, tim's events). :thumbup:

I'll take one. I went to Joe's BBQ and to the previous tech day at Peter's.

I was there too and I am signed up for the Pines to Palm run. Have wanted a SD badge for a while, but didn't ask until I attended an event, so :thumbup: to the new policy.
