I believe that switch is momentary anyway. The rear defroster is on a timer that is managed separate from the switch so the switch just gives the command. You would need to review the wire diagrams...

You gotta prep by removing loose scale if any, then spray an acid they supply. Then just brush on.

No, the part numbers between the non-CR and CR pieces are identical. I have put CR tonneau covers on 2 non-CR s2000's now and didn't have any issues installing the cover without replacing these.
