Yeah that comment bothered me too. My first S was a 2004 with 116k milies on it still on the original diff. The only thing were the diff mounts needed to be changed but thats hardly a 5k fix.

ABS lines definetly check. I almost forgot to bolt mine back in on the right side when i installed my coilovers. If not bolted down they swing loose and would hit the wheel on the back side.

The sound started after the coilovers were installed? I assume that means no sound before? It kinda sounds like something hitting metal. Did he remove the fender liner? Maybe its flapping around?

I just installed some TE37's on my S2k as well however they are the Evasive spec. However the point of my post is that fitment of these shouldnt actually be too hard as i've had a pretty easy time...
