Thanks for the input guys. i think the only real way i can know for myself is to try both.
I'm going to try a 275/35 on a 9.5" wheel and a 255/35 on the 9.5 wheel that way i can experience both...

Definitely few different views going around. Of course 18x9.5 265/35 would be optimal but we are not in a perfect world, that's why...

i'm just comparing the 2
but then again you see all the guys with 17x10 running 255/40, nobody ever goes wider which leads me to believe...
