I purchased a Mugen hardtop on Thanksgiving Day (11/26/15) and still hasn't shipped. Now I know that due to holidays it might take a while, however there was no notification or any kind of disclaimer that it might take a while due to the large amount of orders put in. I've contacted customer service about 2 weeks after my order date since thats when it "usually ships", and told me it would ship in another 2 weeks. I've emailed them again asking after said 2 weeks for a status updated and still no response or any kind of action. I've been checking my email and my account on the website religiously and its just disappointing to have dropped all that money and not get any kind of response. Wondering if anyone else is having this kind of issue...Can't comment on quality of hardtop, however once/if I do receive it, I'll update here!

Best,

You are too patient. I'd be pretty upset if I had to wait 2 weeks for a tracking number only to find out that after the initial 2 weeks I had to wait another 2 weeks AGAIN ONLY to find out that the company would then ignore my emails. Seems sketchy and crappy. Goodluck OP.

geezus.j,

You have a good looking car and it needs a hardtop on it ASAP. The Company should have regularly kept you up to date with what was going on. I would email them daily until you got a response because that is outrageous. I hope everything works out well for you. Please update as soon as the top arrives! At this point I think they should at least cover shipping cost for you.

Best,

Yeah they are a little behind apparently. I placed an order for an item that showed in stock 17 days ago. It just shipped yday. So I don't think you're the only one with the problem. It's a little annoying but hopefully the quality of the product makes up for what they lack in customer service.

It's the holidays that effect everything.

Normally when you buy a hardtop and it says in stock, it is the amount of stock we are manufacturing. Below that, it reads, normally ships within 1-2 weeks or 2-4 weeks depending on the hardtop.

Also, if you choose to paint the hardtop with us, that could take another 1-3 weeks depending on how busy paint. Paint is a timeline we can not control but always inform that client a "ruff" estimate. We encourage people to message us before placing an order if they are concern about timing.

Black Friday is another story and is why we clearly post on the front page of our website that all orders place on black friday can take anywhere from 1-8 weeks depending on product. FRP Hardtops stated 30 in-stock but normally 3-5 weeks before shipping. Now, all frp that are not paint normally ship within 1-2 weeks.

If anyone has any concerns about a new or existing order, please email us or call us directly. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Hey Alberto, thanks for the reply. Since it appears you want to address this in an open forum I'll discuss my specific order.

12/28 8:30am - placed an order for side diffusers with 4 sets being shown as in stock

12/30 - I sent a follow up email because I was concerned that my order did not appear in my recent orders on your website

1/4 - I received a reply from your company stating my order should be shipped by end of week

1/11 - I send another email inquiring the status of the order because it had now been 14 days since my original order for an item that was listed "in stock".

1/12 - I receive a reply that my order has been shipped.

1/13 - The provided tracking number only shows "Shipping label has been created. The status will be updated when shipment begins to travel."

1/14 - The provided tracking number still only shows "Shipping label has been created. The status will be updated when shipment begins to travel."

Maybe now that you can see it from the consumers standpoint you will understand the frustration it has caused on my end of the transaction.
